Senstional Shimmers

Very Me Peach Me Body Glow by Oriflame Age Preventing sun lotion by Skeyndor Colour Crush Eyeshadow by The Body Shop Oriflame Diamond Cellular Illuminating Exfoliator True colour blush & Eyeshadow by Street Wear Deep Moisturizing Cream FII by Skeyndor Shimmer, also referred to as highlighter, luminizer and illuminator, is what gives you that dewy glow of youthful radiance. If you look at a photo of a woman with no shimmer, and compare it to a photo with shimmer, you will notice how dull a complexion can look without it. However, you must use shimmer with caution since it draws attention to anything it touches. Focus on your best features, such as brow bones, cheekbones, and lips. One exception to this rule is when used under the eyes to cover dark circles, as subtle shimmer will reflect light, and help to conceal. Shimmer, like most makeup, comes in different colors and textures. There are cream, powder and liquid shimmers, each of which are applied with either a brush or your fingertips. A popular way to apply shimmer makeup is to trace the shape of a “3” on your face starting at your temple. This will highlight your face in all the right places. Make sure to blend well, as you don’t want to see any visible lines. This application style works best with powder makeup.

Marriage to Fitness

Well! Wedding is close and the bride is loaded with expectations to look best on the Big Day. You have to look good in terms of slim, glowing and fresh as ever. To couple this trio together it is important that you eat healthy and start a workout regime. Make sure that this entire regime is first of all realistic and will fit into your shopping and preparation schedule. Never set an unrealistic program. And then be sure you do not end up with a regime that compromises that glow. Here’s how to manage your fitness and beauty at the same time. Eat healthy for all the right reasons. You have a reason to be highly motivated during this event. So junk goes out of our window. Stock up on all the seasonal fruits around you. Fresh fruits especially citrus ones like oranges and berries of all kinds will give you a rosy look and help you cut on the fat near your abdomen. Equally important is to increase fiber in the form of fresh salads with fresh veggies; these will boost your metabolism, and give you a fresh look on the D day. Never try to extreme diet or starve yourself in a frenzy to lose weight. You have to eat in small portions and eat healthy. Breakfast should be the heaviest meal of your day and try to eat as light as possible during dinner. When you move about shopping, try to stay away from fried and oily snacks at shopping carts located in markets. Try to find a juice corner for some fresh vegetable juice or carry Tiffin consisting of strawberries or chopped papaya. This will be a healthier snack. Just in case you were not able to carry your fruit, try to locate a healthy snack, you would rather go for a spinach corn sandwich at Café Coffee Day rather than having cholla bathura. Go slow on chocolates too. Too much chocolate may swell you up and none the less may give you a pimple on the face. A square or two in the entire day is more than sufficient to give you instant energy. Second word of wisdom is to stay away from cold drinks on the run. Carry your water bottle. Water is the essence of life and a hydrated skin is the best way to look good for your wedding. So make sure to drink at least 3 liters on an average each day to keep your bowels clean and feel fresh first thing in the day. Have it in the form of plain water, fresh juices, soups made at home and even coconut water to look radiating. Apart from the cold drinks, watch the amount and the kind of alcohol intake you have. 30 to 60 ml of red wine in a week will not harm you. You may have a restricted quantity of any kind but large pegs of whisky, beer or any other kind of alcohol is not a good idea just before your wedding. This is a very important tip for the bridegrooms who end up drinking tons of alcohol at bachelor parties. Watch what you drink and how much you drink. You need to stay fresh and hydrated. Now if we look at your diet, having low fat dairy products and low fat poultry such as chicken and fish will give you optimum nutrition and choice for your main meals. Stay away from red meats, gravy meats like butter chicken, and do not have fried chicken. Having cottage cheese and skimmed milk is a good idea and will keep you full during the day. Most importantly small grandma remedies like kesar milk will give you a pretty bridal radiance on your face. Do not have too much coffee or tea though, having green tea is good idea for sure and is definitely on the go fitness list. There are many flavors of green tea like rose tea and jasmine tea which have health and beauty benefits each. Go slow on heavy carbohydrates such as rice helpings, ghee laden pulses, and even too much bread. Having a good helping of proteins will definitely make your waist fit into your selected designer outfit. Now we come to our planned workout regime. First you should decide whether you are motivated enough to monitor yourself or you need help. In case you are a workout kind of a person, then you can choose the plan best suited to you. While some are comfortable with yoga, some find pleasure walking at the sports complex. Some may like aerobics while they would be grooms like to hit the gym. It is entirely your choice, but make sure either you do it regularly on your own or you get a trainer hired to get it done. The second key point is to be regular. You have to do it regularly. Doing it once a week is no good. You need to workout at least every alternate day in the week. The regime can be planned at at least 20 minutes a day for the brides and at least 40 minutes of the day for the bridegrooms. This will keep you charged and bring you in shape. Aim at overall shape and do not worry about target areas as they will fall in shape automatically. You need to look shapely and workout adds to the glow on your face too. Apart from workout and healthy eating, the fitness of the would be couple requires one more important key. You need to be relaxed. Most of the times the girls end up getting stressed from the never ending shopping spree and the anxiety related to what after marriage issues. You need to be at peace to be your best on the wedding day. SO it is advisable to do a 5 minutes meditation each day. Your day may be hectic as hell, but still you should give 5 minutes to yourself. You will not only fell

She adds,” I believe every woman must love and respect oneself. Leaving someone or being left by someone should not alter your path to success. We must think about the coming generation to provide them with a beautiful & happy life.” Her philosophy towards life is very unique and praiseworthy. Her thought speaks, “ Teach your sons and daughters to support women, don’t let any woman be humiliated or tortured by anyone. Always stand by her. We need to respect and stand with other women because sometimes circumstances lead to a woman turning into another woman’s enemy. An axe is the live example of this, its handle is made of wood and it helps the axe cut down the other tree. The same way women can choose to be the power of women or the reason of their failure too.” Success and power is within you. Unite not to destroy one another but to build a new world. This is what Dr. Renu Raj believes in.

Next phase was the actual Learnings of my LIFE – movement to DELHI. I was transferred to Delhi and during this phase my personal life was in troubled waters. I went into depression and just kept myself moving. But during the toughest phase you come across the best of people who love and care for you. I found the best of friends who supported me and helped me stand strong. The most blessed part of life was meeting my divine GURU – H.H ARCHNA DIDI. I am part of Celebrating Life Foundation. My Guru taught me YOGA & MEDITATION which made me stand strong for my cause. Under her guidance, I learnt & started taking decisions of my life. I could only see the positive aspects of life. I could feel the positive first ray of light as my name signifies. I got the calmness and peacefulness of mind. LIFE became a celebration for me and I enjoyed every moment of my life. This changed my aura and personality completely. After living and exploring my life in Delhi for a year I was back to Hyderabad and continued my professional life in Satyam. Took up new opportunities and joined one of my dream companies IBM in Bangalore. Bangalore gave me the best professional and personal life balance. I started developing good relations in company, friends and family too. LIFE started offering me opportunities to explore and help people who are in pain. There were people who used to share their feelings of grief and sorrow to me. They wanted to know what’s my key to happiness ? The answer was only one – YOGA & MEDITATION. YOGA was introduced to me by my MOTHER. I religiously used to visit temples for more positive vibrations and thoughts. I had also joined GYM for physical workouts and understand and try to make balance in life. On weekends, I used to go to different workshops involving different aspects of life like IT innovation, Tech Talks, Personality development sessions which involved creative ideas and thoughts, exploring places in closed groups of friends and much more. I visited London for a friends’ reunion meet post to Delhi. I visited Scotland and since then got in love with Edinburgh. I loved exploring the streets of London and the night before my return to Bangalore, on the OXFORD Street I wished to get back to London with my true heart. During this course of time I was also looking for a good match for marriage. After my return from London in 2013, March 2014 – I met my husband through Matrimonial. We had long distance relationship, he being in London & me in Bangalore. 5th Dec 2014 we got married in the holy land of Tirupaty with all the blessings of Almighty and family. He is the love of my LIFE who gave my visions a reality and still supports me strongly. He is the most humble, respectful and a man of dignity I have met who loves his family the most and cares for it from the bottom of his heart. Got married, left India with mixed emotions but happy to make things happen as I wanted. Living a happy married Life, finding a job was next target. But life can’t be so easy, this time as I had to adapt to new culture and traditions following Indian customs and traditions. Travelling to UK as tourist and living in UK as citizen are 2 very different aspects of life and I fell under 2nd category. Got my job in Heineken, Edinburgh. We moved to Scotland and since then enjoyed Scottish weather. Now we have a beautiful family with my daughter Pranika as a new addition who is close to getting 3 years. I kept on doing small charities in my life always. Last year I raised a small amount of fund too for St.Jude’s cancer research for children.
