Union of Comoros and HCCD-India hosts an evening to commemorate Consular Day

3rd April 2023, New Delhi:   Honorary Consular Corps Diplomatique-India organised an evening to acknowledge Consular Day.The gathering witnessed the momentous felicitation of “Vivek Burman (Dabur) Peace Prize” bestowed to Padma Shri Mr. Jitender Singh Shunty, and Hon’ble Mr. Suresh Chukkapalli, Hony. Consul General of South Korea.   On the occasion, Mr. K.L Ganju said that the Hony. Consuls in India are playing a pivotal role in delivering consular services and also flourishing economic and bilateral relations between the sending and the receiving countries.   The Chief Guest for the event was H.E Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, Minister of state for Ministry of Education and Ministry of External Affairs, H.E. Mr. Alem Tsehaye Woldemariam, High Commissioner of Eritrea and Dean of the diplomatique corp and Excellency Mr. Vikramjit Singh Sahney, Padma Shri Member (Rajya Sabha)were the Guest of Honour.   The eminent guests who graced the occasion with their presence included Mr. V.K. Duggal, Former Governor, Hon’ble Mr. Vivek Burman, Hony.Consul General of Nicaragua, Chairman Emeritus Dabur India Ltd, International Dance Maestro, Padma Shri Ms. Shovna Narayan, International Dance Guru, Padma vibhushan Dr. Sonal Mansingh.   Ambassadors, High Commissioners and Hony. India Day Festival celebrates 75th Year of India-Russia Friendship in Moscow

The largest ethnic event of Moscow celebrated on the occasion of 75th Year of India Independence and India-Russia friendship attracted over 2 Million guests over the 4-day mega show at the Dream Island landscape park. Indian Ambassador Pawan Kapoor opened the festival by planting an apple tree. In total, 75 such apple trees were planted at the festival site – in honor of the 75th anniversary of India’s independence, which is celebrated this year, and the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Moscow and New Delhi. The founder of the India Day Festival, President of the Indian National Cultural Center SITA Sammy Kotwani said, “Everyone knows that India is a big family of peoples and traditions. By planting 75 trees, we proclaimed unity. Proclaimed that we are a family! Apple trees are a symbol of fertility, health, love and beauty, and that is why apple trees were planted as a sign of strong friendship between the two countries.” From India, Prime Communication and Beauty & The Best was official media partner of the event. Prime Communication Managing Editor, Preeti Puja also unveiled annual coffee table book titled,” Shining India” which features Indian Prime Minister, top delegates across the world alongwith Mr Sammy Kotwani, President of SITA, the host of India Day Festival. They conducted Dance Master Class and fashion show with students of Kendriya Vidyalaya in Moscow at the festival , which was highly applied by the audience. The guests were greeted by the symbol of India, stunning in its beauty – a copy of the Taj Mahal, located between the fountains of the park. Like the previous six years, admission was free for visitors. The theme of the festival this year was ecology and a healthy lifestyle. At the decorated Vedic venue VEDA WEEKEND, which combines spiritual communication and rich cultural outdoor recreation, one could take part in Indian dance master classes, listen to lectures on Ayurveda, meditate, read mantras, do yoga, watch spherical films, put on hands mehendi, check your eyesight. The well-known psychologist Svetlana Nazoeva conducted the “Support Corridor” practice, which allowed the participants of the festival to relax and start healing processes inside their bodies. And Alexei Sergienko, a yogi from St. Petersburg, did yoga for the eyes, helping to restore poor eyesight. During all the days of the festival solemn wedding ceremonies were held – couples passed the ceremony according to Indian traditions. One of the couples who played an Indian wedding at the festival was the rapper ST and his wife, TV presenter and blogger Assol. The wedding ceremony was held live on the Moscow 24 TV channel. According to the couple, who have been together for 8 years, and 7 of which ST and Assol are officially married, the event will only strengthen their relationship. In total, 200 Russian couples will got married during the four-day friendship festival. The wedding of two stars will be one of the brightest and most spectacular processions in the ParachuteWedding Zone specially prepared for this procession. On the final day of the festival, a celebration of the riot of colors Holi took place, which began with the performance of the driving songs of the SPB group! and incendiary dances of the girls from the Bombay Dance team. During the extravaganza of colors, wandering drummers from India staged an impressive show, giving each guest a sea of emotions.

IIW ( Inspiring Indian Women ) SHE INSPIRES AWARDS 2022

London, United Kingdom: The much-awaited IIW “She Inspires Awards 2022” drew wide scale interest from nominations coming from all parts of the world this year. The purpose was to acknowledge ordinary women who are doing so much but hardly recognised. It could be any woman in the family sacrificing the was a huge success. More than 150 nominations went under a grueling process of two rounds. “Naari” is referred as “Shakti (Strength)”, and SHE INSPIRES award is to celebrate that Strength exhibited by Women in different roles, something that Inspires others to go a Step further, to venture into the Uncharted, and thereby bringing out the best in their role. Dilli Bazaar for Enterprising Women Entrepreneurs

Delhi Government’s think tank Dialogue and Development Commission of Delhi (DDC) held a networking meeting with women entrepreneurs to connect with ‘Delhi Bazaar’ web portal. Women entrepreneurs of Delhi welcomed the decision of Delhi government and gave many practical information for the upcoming portal. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal recently announced that Delhi will have its own e-market place ‘Delhi Bazaar’ portal, where every small and big shopkeeper will have a virtual store through which you will be able to sell your goods online all over the world. An effort will be made to ensure that buyers as well as sellers get positive results in the web portal. In this, women entrepreneurs-representatives associated with women’s business organizations like jewellery, apparel industry, fashion designers, boutiques, salons, makeup and cosmetic industry etc. participated in the meeting. Women’s market associations discussed the role of training their members to run online businesses. Presiding over the meeting, DDC Vice-Chairman Jasmin Shah said that women entrepreneurs are an integral part of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s vision of ‘Delhi Bazaar’. Its objective is to provide an equal opportunity to all types of traders and shopkeepers of Delhi. To make this a reality, the Delhi government will provide assistance to 2 lakh women entrepreneurs in Delhi and connect them with the portal. So that they can reach bigger markets and grow their business. The salon industry has suffered a huge financial loss due to the Corona epidemic. Brijesh Goyal, founder of the Chamber of Trade and Industry (CTI) Mahila Parishad, said that the Delhi government’s efforts to mobilize women entrepreneurs and make them an important part of the project are unprecedented. This will help the Delhi government to coordinate with them. Preeti Puja, Founder, Prime Communication Media also spoke about the Indo-British Forum, which will also help women entrepreneurs to build their businesses globally. Prachi Gandhi, Mrs. India Winner 2021(Classic)raised concern about the women getting unemployed in the salon industry due to corona and also suggested measures for women safety who often pay visit to unknown houses for giving parlour services. Life Coach Dr. Paarul Singh, spoke about the importance of mental wellbeing in the service industry and how to balance the daily chores of life. Whereas ace celebrity designer Siimie Kaur from Aayana by Siimi showed her concern on local for vocal. Her main vision is to promote work of local artisans globally.
